Who We Are

Last day brewing is a homebrewing project started by Steven Bazarsky and Justin Marriott, brewed right here in Boston. At LDB, we brew experiments with the highest level of expectations. Why settle for mediocre beer?

Justin and Steven met in college through a group of mutual friends, and soon realized that they loved beer more than….well….everyone else. Rather than give you a long spiel about their stories, we’ll save you the read (it’s really not that exciting, you’d need a 6 pack just to stay awake through it). We’re both here for the beer, so let’s get right to it.

Try our beer (the worst that happens is you get a good buzz going). If you don’t like it, let us know. Seriously. We don’t care if you show up at our doorsteps (leave the pitchforks and torches at home) or write us hate mail (halfway kidding here). Comment on our blog, post on the forum, or drop us a quick email from the contact page.

We want to know what you want to drink. We want to know what’s missing, what we should leave out, and what you wish you tasted. We want to know everything. That’s the beauty of beer. Everyone can have an opinion, and everyone can be right.

We want to make great beer that you’ll love, but we need your help. In return, all recipes will be public. If you like one of our beers that much and want to make it for yourself, you can download the recipe and instructions right from this site.*

What beer would you want to drink if someone told you it was your last day? That’s what we strive to brew at LDB.

*last day brewing does not guarantee that you have any idea about what you’re doing, and that your beer won’t taste like complete garbage because you’re either fermenting next to your furnace or using carboys that have things living at the bottom.
